14-Hour Course
The immersive 14-Hour Course from First Class Driving & Safety is tailored for individuals aged 18 and above. This course comprises 6 hours of classroom instruction followed by 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training.
Course Overview
The 14-Hour Course is designed for students 18 years or older who need driver education. This program includes 6 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of state-required behind-the-wheel training. Students will work individually with a certified instructor to practice safe driving skills, gain confidence, and prepare for the Louisiana Road Skills Test.
Class Schedule
Classes are held once a month in Moss Bluff on either a Saturday or Sunday, with start times varying depending on the session. Students first complete the 6-hour classroom portion, during which they learn traffic laws, safe driving practices, and other essential knowledge. After passing the written knowledge test, students coordinate with the instructor or office staff to schedule their 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving, which is completed individually.
Payment Details
- To secure a spot and schedule instruction, students must complete the required payments:
- Registration Fee: $45 A non-refundable fee to reserve your seat. PAY NOW
- Classroom Fee: $100 Covers the 6-hour classroom portion and is due at the first day of class or at registration.
- Behind-the-Wheel Fee: $250 Covers the state-required 8 hours of driving instruction and is due before scheduling drive sessions.
- Optional Road Skills Test: $60 Students can take the state-required test with us, enjoying a convenient schedule, familiar surroundings, and support from our experienced instructors. Students may also choose to take the test at the DMV at no cost.
- Optional Extra Drive Time: $45/Hour Available for students who want additional practice behind the wheel.
